Job summary

Air Liquide Dallas is seeking a Construction Manager to lead site construction activities for cust. installations and projects E&I. The role directs site teams, coordinates with engineering, commissioning and operations, and ensures safety, quality, and schedule adherence.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management or equivalent
• 3+ construction site experience
• Ability to read equipment schematics, PIDs, and construction drawings
• Proficient in value engineering and constructability review
• Knowledge of building codes, standards and regulations (ASME, API, CGA, NFPA, OSHA)
• Strong verbal and written communication with collaborative teamwork

Responsibilities

• Promote safety awareness and safe practices on site
• Contribute construction execution expertise to early-stage project deliverables
• Act as the primary Air Liquide site contact for contractor management
• Coordinate cross-functional teams (engineering, commissioning, operations) on construction matters
• Oversee development and review of detailed execution plans with contractors
• Monitor contractor performance regarding safety, quality, budget, and schedule
• Provide input into construction execution plans, constructability reviews, and contracting strategies
• Keep Capital Project Managers updated on progress, risks and milestones
• Oversee contract administration and change requests
• Verify site progress and approve contractor invoices
