Job summary

TRC Companies, Inc. is seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale electrical infrastructure projects in Colorado.

You will oversee pre-construction, mobilization, construction, testing, and energization, coordinating multiple contractors and schedules to meet tight outage windows. The role involves ensuring safety and quality standards, managing budgets over $10M, and mentoring junior staff, with opportunities for professional growth and an emphasis on compliance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a related field with extensive experience managing large-scale utility/infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing multiple contractors, project budgets exceeding $10M, critical-path schedules, outage coordination, and large-scale change orders.
• Strong knowledge of construction safety, quality assurance, NERC/FERC, OSHA, and utility standards, with auditing and compliance experience.
• Experience coordinating engineering revisions, constructability reviews, project turnover documentation, and mentoring construction managers and field inspectors.

Overview

Manages large or technically complex electrical projects—such as multi-mile transmission line builds, major substation expansions, or underground duct bank systems. Provides leadership to project teams and acts as the client’s primary field representative.

Compensation

In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation

Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company’s annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range
