This construction role will build and improve the physical infrastructure of Amazon's online fulfillment business.
The North American Construction team is looking for an experienced Construction Manager who will be responsible for construction of new Fulfillment Centers in entire US as well as renovations & tenant improvements at existing Fulfillment Centers. The Construction Manager will serve as Amazon's representative and direct point of interface with Developers and General Contractors, as well as the primary integrator between construction and other Amazon stakeholders responsible for equipping, furnishing, and operating Fulfillment Centers.
This opportunity combines construction engineering, planning, project management, facilities management, and contract management. This is a remote role with frequent travel to job sites in the entire US.

The role is remote and will include upwards of 60% travel regionally, with the potential of traveling to all North America locations based on the business needs.

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or comparable field. 5 or more years of experience in commercial or industrial construction as an Engineer, Construction Manager, General Contractor PM, Owner’s Representative, Commercial Developer, or similar construction-related disciplines. 5 or more years Project Management experience. 5 or more years of experience negotiating construction, procurement and labor contracts.
Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management. Demonstrated skill in written & oral communication to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Specific experience in construction or renovation of commercial warehouse facilities or fulfillment centers.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $69,700/year in our lowest geographic market up to $155,800/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
