Job summary

Plummer seeks a Construction Inspector/Manager in Orlando, FL, to join our field operations. You will perform construction inspection and management duties, read plans and specifications, and lead inspectors on multiple projects, directing field staff and coordinating with engineers.

Applicants should have 2–6 years of field experience in construction, be capable of communicating with clients, contractors, and engineers, and prepare daily reports and budgets awareness.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years field experience in construction or construction management.
• Ability to read plans and specifications.
• Lead project inspection on multiple projects and direct inspectors and field staff.
• Coordinate with Engineers on projects during construction.
• Communicate with Clients, Contractors and Engineers.
• Prepare daily construction reports and other documentation as assigned by Construction Manager.
• Assist Construction Manager as assigned.
• Ability to understand budgets and cost assignments.
• Willing to attend outside training - OSHA, ACI, Etc.
• Other Duties as Assigned.
• All duties of Construction Manager 1.

Responsibilities

• Perform Construction Inspection and Construction Management duties on projects assigned. Able to lead project inspection on multiple projects.
• Direct inspectors and field staff during construction.
• Work with Engineers on projects during construction and communicate with Clients, Contractors and Engineers.
• Complete Daily Construction Reports and other documentation as assigned by Construction Manager.
• Assist Construction Manager as assigned.
• Understand budgets and cost assignments.
