Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in heavy civil or transportation construction, strong collaboration with owners, engineers, and subcontractors, and a willingness to travel up to 90% and

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience in heavy civil, highway, DOT, or transportation construction.
• Demonstrated experience leading active construction projects, crews, or major project scopes.
• Strong understanding of field operations, sequencing, scheduling, cost control, safety, and quality management.
• Ability to manage multiple project priorities with attention to detail and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily field and project operations for highway, transportation, concrete paving, and heavy civil construction projects.
• Maintain a strong field presence while leading foremen, crews, subcontractors, and project personnel.
• Manage project schedules, labor, equipment, materials, subcontractors, and site logistics for safe, profitable execution.
• Monitor project costs, KPIs, and overall job performance.
• Support contract administration, documentation, and project closeout activities.
