Job summary

Wildlands Engineering, Inc. seeks an experienced Construction Manager to lead complex municipal and turnkey projects in Raleigh/Durham, NC.

You will oversee delivery from planning through closeout, coordinating with in-house engineers, municipal clients, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure quality and on-time performance. The ideal candidate has extensive field experience in civil/environmental construction, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and a proven ability to manage

Qualifications

5–10+ years of progressive construction management experience on civil/environmental/infrastructure projects.
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
Experience with stream restoration, municipal, utility, or public works projects preferred.
Strong knowledge of RFIs, submittals, pay apps, testing, inspections, and change management.

Responsibilities

Coordinate design and construction from inception to completion.
Improve project efficiency, constructability, cost, and schedule.
Lead contractor/owner/engineer coordination meetings and document distribution.
Serve as primary point of contact with contractors, owners, inspectors, and municipal agencies.
Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and quality control.
