What we are looking for




SCS Engineers is looking for a Project Manager to oversee our Environmental Monitoring and CQA (Construction Quality Assurance) projects for our solid waste engineering group in Georgia and the Southeastern US. As a CQA/Environmental Project Manager you will be responsible for providing project support and conducting on-site inspections to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and industry standards. Your primary focus will be on delivering exceptional project outcomes while maintaining effective communication with internal teams, clients, and contractors. This will be an in-office role.

    Supporting our Project Managers in the successful delivery of environmental construction projects.
  • Conduct regular field inspections on assigned projects.
  • Having an optimistic attitude that builds trust with clients and colleagues.
  • Having excellent interpersonal communication skills and an attention to detail.
  • Working independently, being a self-starter, energetic, and demonstrating good common sense and sound judgment.
  • Having the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and work efficiently in a fast paced and ever-changing work environment.
  • Prepare quantity estimates and cost estimates.
  • Keep up to date with job knowledge and industry trends through active participation in educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, and engaging in professional societies and networks.
  • Prepare written correspondence with clients and contractors, maintaining clear and professional communication throughout the project lifecycle.





Qualifications




  • Bachelor degree or vocational certificate in construction management, engineering or equivalent education and/or 10 years of relevant work in the design and construction experience of environmental projects.
  • Ability to work in the field for extended periods of time and to travel outside local areas as needed. This position requires 80% day and/or night travel.
  • Flexibility to work overtime, as needed.
  • A thorough knowledge of general construction industry practices and safety.
  • Knowledge of soils, geosynthetics conformance testing and geosynthetics installation.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of permits, drawings, technical specifications and CQA plans, to ensure accurate interpretation and implementation.
  • Valid driver's license with a driving record in good standing required.





Pay Range




USD $75,000.00 - USD $110,000.00 /Yr.
