We are Constructiv, a Generac Company, empowering your technology through mission critical infrastructure delivery.

Our team has over 20 years of technical project delivery experience. During this period, we have established a standard for building the critical power and cooling infrastructure that supports data centers.

As we continue to expand, Constructiv is building a pipeline of skilled construction professionals for future opportunities in the United States. While we currently do not have immediate openings, we want to connect with talented individuals in the data center construction industry who are open to exploring roles with us when the time is right.

Travel: Travel is required – up to 90%. This is due to assignments being on-site at physical locations, often living in temporary housing. Onsite work is Monday - Friday with occasional off-hours, nights, and weekends as needed.

  • Dulles, MD

Job Summary: Provide onsite Construction Management of specific scope or tasks, including safety, mobilization, planning, construction, QA/QC, testing, closeout, and related activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate professionally, accurately, effectively, and concisely in both written and oral formats with all stakeholders, including contractors and vendors.
  • Provide project leadership, coordinate, and facilitate teamwork to meet project goals.
  • Communicate project status to supervisors and team members.
  • Develop staffing projections and trend/exposure reports.
  • Ensure project personnel performance meets client needs and expectations.
  • Attend monthly management meetings and participate in project status calls.
  • Lead and manage contract change orders, claims, costs, documentation, and quality efforts.
  • Manage RFIs and produce meeting minutes and documentation.
  • Review contractor documentation, change proposals, and payment applications.
  • Collaborate to improve department processes and standards.
  • Oversee change order management and provide project team leadership throughout construction.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and scope within approved limits.
  • Monitor construction progress, review work, and ensure compliance with drawings and specifications.
  • Ensure project completion within budget, schedule, and quality standards.
  • Review plans and specifications, inspect progress, and administer payments and closeouts.
  • Coordinate testing, commissioning, and turnover of facilities.
  • Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and client guidelines.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • OSHA 10 certification.
  • At least 5 years of responsible experience managing technical construction projects.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams, crews, foremen, and managers.
  • Strong knowledge of construction and electrical codes and plan reading skills.

Preferred Job Requirements:

  • BS degree in engineering or construction management.
  • 10 years of progressive experience managing technical construction projects.
  • Experience coordinating multiple teams and resources.
  • Familiarity with construction and electrical codes, minimum 5 years’ experience.
  • Proficiency with Procore Project Management Software.

Compensation: The annual salary ranges from $131,200 to $196,900 USD, based on experience, skills, certifications, and location. The role includes variable incentives and a comprehensive benefits package.

Physical Demands: Regular talking, hearing, manual tasks, standing, walking, occasional lifting up to 25 pounds, and frequent computer work. Occasional travel required.
