Job Description

Turner & Townsend Heery is seeking to engage Construction Management talent in the aviation construction market sector! We are ideally looking for candidates with prior aviation experience, particularly with project types such as:

• baggage handling
• Wayfinding
• terminal expansion
• terminal renovation
• civil and utilities

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction to project closeout.
• Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to meet project objectives.
• Implement and enforce quality control and safety protocols on construction sites.
• Conduct regular site inspections to ensure compliance with design specifications, building codes, and safety regulations.
• Oversee procurement and management of construction contracts and subcontracts.
• Negotiate contract terms and manage contractor performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
• Prepare and present project status reports, addressing issues or concerns promptly.
• Identify and mitigate potential risks and develop contingency plans.
• Lead and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
• Adhere to SOX control responsibilities where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, architecture, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5-7 years relevant experience, with prior aviation project experience required.
• Strong organizational and management skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams.
• Effective presentation and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Procore, and project management tools.

The salary range for this full-time role is $120K-175K per year, based on experience and qualifications. Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range.
