Position Overview
The Construction Manager will oversee multiple concurrent projects while leading internal crews, coordinating outside contractors, and ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This is not a desk based project management role. The successful candidate will be highly engaged in daily operations, project execution, and team leadership.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage construction, maintenance, and facility improvement projects
- Direct daily activities of internal construction and maintenance personnel
- Coordinate and oversee subcontractors and vendors
- Establish project priorities and allocate resources effectively
- Monitor project timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Ensure compliance with applicable building codes and safety requirements
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously across various facilities and properties
- Identify and resolve project related issues in a timely manner
- Provide regular progress updates to executive leadership
- Drive accountability and maintain high performance expectations across project teams

Qualifications
- 5+ years of construction leadership, project management, superintendent, or facilities management experience
- Proven ability to lead teams and hold individuals accountable
- Experience managing contractors, vendors, and multiple trades
- Strong understanding of construction methods, building systems, and project execution
- Ability to prioritize competing demands in a fast paced environment
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Self motivated with a strong sense of ownership and urgency
