Job summary

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Construction Manager for heavy industrial and heavy civil projects. This senior field leadership role oversees safety, quality, schedule, and cost performance, coordinating with clients, engineering teams, and internal leadership.

The position is project-based onsite with nationwide travel. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction, extensive experience in heavy industrial environments, and a strong track record leading large field teams,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction experience with significant site leadership responsibility.
• Substantial experience within power plants, refineries, petrochemical/chemical facilities, steel mills, or similar heavy industrial environments.
• Strong heavy civil and self-perform earthwork/dirt experience.
• Experience leading large field teams and managing labor, equipment, subcontractors, schedules, and costs.

Construction Manager – Heavy Industrial / Heavy Civil

Location: Project-Based / Nationwide Travel

Schedule: Onsite at active project location, typically 5–6 days/week

• Oversee civil scopes including earthwork, excavation, grading, soil stabilization, underground infrastructure, and site development.
• Coordinate closely with clients, engineering teams, and internal project leadership.
