Job summary

ServiceMaster Restore is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Reconstruction Project Manager to lead residential and commercial rebuild projects from planning through completion. This hands-on role requires ownership of results in a fast-paced environment.

You will oversee jobsite operations, manage crews and vendors, develop schedules and budgets, and ensure compliance with safety standards and codes while delivering high quality restorations for clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field is preferred.
• Experience reading blueprints, scopes of work and construction specifications.
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills.
• Experience in construction management, reconstruction, or project supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage construction and reconstruction projects from pre-construction through final closeout
• Oversee daily jobsite operations, crews, subcontractors, and vendors
• Develop and maintain project schedules, timelines, and budgets
• Control costs, approve change orders, and track project profitability
• Ensure compliance with OSHA safety standards, building codes, and quality standards
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, inspectors, and internal teams
• Lead jobsite meetings, inspections, and progress reporting
• Proactively resolve field issues to keep projects on schedule
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor for restoration and rebuild projects

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in construction management, reconstruction, or project supervision
• Experience in insurance restoration, disaster recovery, or commercial/residential construction preferred
• Strong leadership and subcontractor management skills
• Ability to read blueprints, scopes of work, and construction specifications
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety best practices
• Experience managing multiple trades and fast-moving timelines
• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• OSHA 30, PMP, or CCM certification a plus
