Job summary

TWO Resi Build in Nashville, TN is seeking a Construction Manager to supervise the on-site construction process in assigned communities. You will monitor daily schedules, enforce safety compliance and SWPPP, and ensure workmanship meets company standards to deliver quality homes on time and within budget.

You will collaborate with the Purchasing team to evaluate vendors, onboard trade partners, and resolve issues related to daily construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Drive operational efficiencies to include cycle times, construction extras, customer satisfaction and quality control.
• Work collaboratively with all functional peers as a member of the Construction Team to ensure achievement of department and business goals.
• Ensure that construction activities are performed in a cost-effective manner.
• Ensure that assigned work sites comply with safety regulatory requirements and all environmental laws.
• Work in conjunction with the Purchasing team to evaluate vendor performance and on-board new trade partners.
• Validate and update construction schedule progression and adherence DAILY.
• Collaborate with trade partners throughout the construction process to improve quality and efficiency.
• Assist in resolving issues/conflicts related to daily construction activities (e.g., vendor contracts, work orders, job progress, design).
• Authorize payment for materials received and work completed Through BuildPro.
• Ensure trade partner work is completed on time and within defined standards for quality.
• Inspect/validate workmanship and product quality to conform to Company standards.
• Manage construction process to result in a quality home, which is delivered on time and within budget.
• Support Land Development & Acquisition Development functions as needed.
