We're partnered with an industry-leading DG IPP looking to grow a portfolio of DG assets in the Illinois region, and looking for a Solar Construction Manager to lead this portfolio.

The team currently designs, builds, and operates Solar/ESS/EV charging solutions for both C&I and small utility customers (500kW - 5MW). As a smaller DG arm of a larger IPP, they have enterprise-level support across all core business functions, while still operating as a quickly growing business.

Responsibilities

• Act as the core field leader and eyes/ears for PM and upper management stakeholders groups
• Manage the coordination of multiple key contracting trades, including electrical, roofing, and mechanical teams
• Lead all construction activities from construction kickoff through asset construction
• Own project schedules and budgets to drive construction within company constraints

Qualifications

• Experience taking a large C&I / DG rooftop asset (2-5MW) from NTP through COD
• Hands-on construction experience within the solar field (deep understanding of onsite activities)
• Experience working with multiple trades throughout the construction industry
• Leadership experience managing both internal and third-party field teams

$115 - 145k base + 20% bonus

(The wide range is commensurate with a CM vs a Senior CM candidate)
