Job summary

H+M Industrial EPC is seeking a Construction Manager to plan and execute all on-site construction activities across project sites, serving as the main interface with HSE, Quality, Engineering, Procurement, and Project Management, as well as the client's site personnel.

You will lead the construction team to develop execution plans, schedules, and resource needs, maintain plan ownership, and monitor cost, schedule, and productivity while addressing deviations to keep the project on track.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of industrial construction experience with 3 years of direct construction supervision, EPC experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and capable of establishing respect and credibility through actions, communications, understanding and personal presence.
• Ability to work with others to achieve project and company goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead development of Construction Execution Plan, work breakdown structure, construction schedule, resource requirements, equipment rental schedules, and construction progress/forecasts.
• Maintain ownership of the Construction Execution Plan by continuously assessing the evolving project and updating the plan while communicating construction requirements within the Project Team.
• Monitor and control cost, schedule, progress, and productivity including analyzing deviations and taking action to correct negative trends.

• Accountable for the functional direction, coordination, and performance of all on-site construction operations and support departments including HSE, Quality, Material Management, Procurement, Construction Engineering, Project Controls.
• Actively participate in development of a construction HSE culture that makes safety and environmental awareness a natural part of the job.
• Lead the Project Team in the development of the Construction Execution Plan, work breakdown structure, construction schedule, resource requirements, equipment rental schedules, and construction progress/forecasts.
