Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Construction Manager in Emporia, VA for a 3–4 month engagement. The role oversees field execution on power generation/controls projects, coordinating multidisciplinary teams to complete work safely, on schedule, and within budget.

FAT/SAT and commissioning support are part of the lifecycle. The ideal candidate has strong I&C, IT/network infrastructure experience, and familiarity with NERC compliance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in construction, engineering, project management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of demonstrated construction management experience.
• Previous power plant or power-generation environment experience is required.

• Support project commissioning, turnover, documentation, and close-out activities.

• Schedule: Expected hours will be mixed based on project needs: 5/8s, 5/12s, or 6/12s

Job Summary

• We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in power generation, controls, instrumentation & controls (I&C), IT, network infrastructure implementation, or related technical construction disciplines.


• The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in power plant environments and managing multidisciplinary construction teams. Experience with NERC compliance is highly preferred.


• The Construction Manager will oversee field execution and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within scope and budget, and in accordance with applicable specifications, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.


• The role will support various project phases, including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), implementation, Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), commissioning, project turnover, and close-out.
