Jacobs in Cary, NC invites motivated interns to join our Life Sciences team within Advanced Facilities. You will support Construction Management activities, collaborate with Project Managers, and help outline schedules to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Your role includes applying knowledge of pre-design concepts and delivery methods, while gaining hands-on experience on industrial and life sciences projects in a supportive, learning-focused environment.

Qualificações

Working within one of our Construction teams, you could join us in one of many different Construction focused roles—Document Control, Project Control, Site Engineer, to name a few. You will support Project Managers in all aspects of the project, help find alternative strategies and utilize advanced technologies and data analysis solutions to support service excellence. We’ll guide you in through the beginning of your construction management career as you hone your skills in meeting project requirements regarding timeline and budget. You will collaborate on the development of project schedules and detail the critical activities which will help drive us to successful project delivery.

Here's what you'll need

• Current enrollment in a degree seeking program in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering or another closely related field
• Knowledge of pre-design and pre-construction, delivery systems, and components
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Ideally, You’ll Also Have

• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Previous experience in construction

The base salary range for this position is $47,300.00 to $60,000.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
