Job summary

ArchKey Solutions internship program offers hands-on exposure to the electrical construction industry. You will work closely with a project manager to gain experience across project coordination, safety practices, estimating, scheduling, and customer communication.

This role is designed for students excited to build a career in electrical construction and provides a pathway to learn how projects are planned, budgeted, and executed on site.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business, or a related field.
• Strong interest in pursuing a career in the electrical construction industry.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively and build effective relationships.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Prior construction experience is a plus.
• Experience with Bluebeam Revu, Accubid, or other construction technology is a plus.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Support project planning, scheduling, documentation, and coordination.
• Assist with estimating, bid proposals, purchasing, payments, and change orders.
• Work with project managers, superintendents, foremen, subcontractors, general contractors, and customers.
• Gain hands-on exposure to project safety practices and OSHA requirements.

Our summer internship program provides hands-on exposure to the electrical construction industry while preparing you for your career after graduation. Regional Opportunity

This position is based within one of ArchKeys regional markets and supports projects in the surrounding area. Your internship assignment will be connected to a regional office and may include work across multiple active projects, depending on business needs.
