Job summary

Turner Construction Company is seeking a Summer 2027 Construction Intern in Columbus, OH to gain hands-on experience on an active project site. You will assist the project team with coordination, documentation, and progress reporting while learning safety protocols, quality control, and lifecycle activities.

Ideal candidates are enrolled in engineering/architecture/construction management programs, 18+ years old, with strong communication skills and a proactive, collaborative mindset.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in accredited degree program with 1 year completed or in a Co‑op.
• Desire to learn construction management and industry basics.
• Commitment to standard business hours and overtime as needed.
• Clear verbal and written communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Support project team with meeting coordination, file management, and progress reporting.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE.
• Assist with site documentation, RFIs, submittals, and shop drawings reviews.
• Communicate with architects, engineers, vendors, and subcontractors as directed.
• Learn and apply project scheduling and coordination tasks.
