Qualifications

• This internship is for a student actively pursuing a civil/environmental related degree.
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D or MicroStation preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented and eager to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering reports, plans, and specifications.
• Support site layout, grading, drainage, and utility design using Civil 3D or MicroStation.
• Perform field visits for data collection and site assessments.
• Review design standards and regulatory codes for compliance.
• Participate in team meetings and contribute to documentation.
• Organize project data for technical documentation and presentations.
• Document work with accuracy under supervision; meet due dates.
• Attend trainings and site walks to gain practical experience.
• Communicate clearly with supervisors and peers; escalate blockers early.
