Co seeks a Construction Management Engineering Intern for our Oklahoma City office to assist the Engineering team across estimating, managing, and commissioning construction projects.

You will work with design-build firms, oversee greenfield site development, and help manage cost, scope, and schedule while promoting safe practices and effective communication across teams.

Qualifications

• Working towards a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management.
• Some experience in mining or the aggregate industry preferred.
• Experience with modeling software (AutoCAD, Tekla or other Modeling Software) preferred.
• Electrical and automation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with design-build firms to establish mechanical and automation requirements for new plants.
• Oversee development of greenfield sites including roads, plant pads, and utilities.
• Manage project quality, schedule, and budget to deliver stakeholder value.
• Foster a safe work culture across offsite and onsite teams.

JOB SUMMARY

The Construction Management Engineering Intern will be based out of Dolese’s corporate office in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; and will assist the Engineering team in multiple tasks including estimating, managing, commissioning construction projects.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Work closely with Design Build Firms to establish the mechanical and automation requirements for new aggregate plants and expanding existing plants
• Oversee the development of greenfield sites include roads, plant pad sites, railroad spurs, storm water management plans, and power distribution
• Manage project quality, schedule, and budget while ensuring stakeholder value is achieved
• Foster a safe work culture at every level of project involvement, from offsite vendors to managing onsite employees
• Estimate project cost utilizing historical data, vendor supplied data, and personal experience
• Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

Education & Experience Candidate must be working towards a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Construction Management Some experience in mining or the aggregate industry preferred Experience with modeling software (AutoCAD, Tekla or other Modeling Software) preferred Electrical and automation experience preferred

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Lift objects repeatedly of various dimensions and up to 50 lbs. of weight
• Ability to repeatedly climb stairs and climb ladders
• Ability to repeatedly balance, bend from the trunk, crawl, kneel, push and pull objects
• Ability to tolerate working in all environmental temperatures and weather conditions
• Ability to repeatedly reach, squat, and tolerate prolonged standing/walking/sitting
• Ability to repeatedly walk on uneven surfaces
