Job summary

Gryps is building a leading AI product for the construction industry, serving owners and operators of large facilities across New York City and the US. You will join a nimble team delivering data-driven workflows, AI agents, and analytics to support decision-making for complex projects.

You will work directly with the CEO and customers, shaping product strategy, data sources, and analytics while growing your skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in civil/ construction management or quantitative field with AI/ML focus.
• 2+ years of experience in quantitative data analysis and solving complex construction problems.
• Experience building AI agents to automate workflows (construction preferred).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python; experience with AWS Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook.
• 3+ years of construction industry experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Curious, attentive listener; able to translate data into customer decisions.

Responsibilities

• Understand customer processes, data strategy, sources and systems to identify automation opportunities.
• Analyze data structures from construction systems and enhance Gryps knowledge graph.
• Set up automated workflows, optimize AI Agents, create dashboards, map customer use cases.
• Consult with customers to leverage data and automate processes via Gryps platform.
• Document data workflows, data policies, structures, standards, and procedures for Gryps implementation.
• Develop and run advanced descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using Jupyter Notebook and Python.
• Gather feedback on current Gryps use cases and identify new opportunities.
• Lead Gryps training sessions for customer users.

Must Haves

• Have a Masters degree (or higher) in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or a quantitative field (e.g., engineering, mathematics, engineering, statistics, computer science or similar) with graduate research focused on AI/machine learning applications in construction or closely related field.
• 2+ years of work experience involving quantitative data analysis and complex problem-solving in construction.
• Experience building AI agents to automate workflows (preference if you built workflows in construction).
• Proficiency in SQL and Python, along with experience using AWS Quicksight, Power BI, Tableau, Jupyter Notebook, or other data visualization and exploration tools.
• Have 3+ years of construction industry experience.
• Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Are curious, a great listener, and enjoy working with customers to find data-driven ways to support decision-making.

What youll be doing:

• Understanding customer processes, data strategy, data sources and systems, policies and procedures, decision-making and identifying opportunities to increase efficiency through automation
• Analyzing data structures from construction systems or public data sources and enhancing the Gryps knowledge graph
• Setting up automated workflows, optimizing AI Agents, creating dashboards, reconfiguring processes, or leading whiteboard sessions to map out customer use cases
• Consulting with customers on how to leverage their data and automate their processes via the Gryps platform
• Documenting data workflows, data policies, structures, standards, and procedures for the Gryps implementation
• Developing and running advanced descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics using Jupyter Notebook and Python
• Gathering feedback on current Gryps use cases and identifying new opportunities
• Leading Gryps training sessions for customer users
