Job summary

Everglades University is seeking adjunct instructors to deliver lecture content and manage classroom activities in assigned courses at our Boca Raton campus. You will participate in weekly feedback meetings with administrative staff, maintain attendance, monitor student progress, and ensure compliance with university policies during each term.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of professional experience.
• Master's Degree in Construction Management is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend weekly feedback meeting with EU administrator to review student and classroom issues.
• Maintain accurate attendance daily and weekly.
• Make phone calls to students who have been absent.
• Review and administer pre- and post-testing in all appropriate courses.
• Administer required surveys and assessments in all appropriate courses.
• Notify registrar of changes in roster.
• Maintain an accurate and fair grading scheme for each student.
• Adhere to all University policies, rules, and regulations.
• Maintain syllabi, update attendance daily and grades weekly, and secure records on campus.
• Conduct class according to scheduled times and avoid excessive breaks.
• Be available to students 15 minutes prior to class and prepare for each session.
• Submit grades no later than Monday 5pm EST after each term.
• Ensure students adhere to University Policy and participate in ceremonies when possible.
• Maintain classrooms in a clean and orderly manner and assist students with academic issues.
