Positions in this job family are assigned responsibilities related to the construction, maintenance, repair or upkeep of buildings, grounds or other state property, requiring no license. This may include assisting in the construction or renovation of buildings, general maintenance and upkeep of plumbing, heating, air conditioning, electrical and other systems, minor repairs to machinery or other equipment, and general maintenance of grounds or lawns.
This is a full-time state position that provides a percentage of matching contributions to employees’ retirement plans, 11 holidays, and a minimum of 15 days of annual and sick leave per year. The state also offers a comprehensive benefits package, including a benefit allowance to offset the cost of insurance premiums for employees and their eligible dependents.
Knowledge of the principles, methods, materials, fixtures, tools and equipment used in various building and maintenance trades; of occupational hazards and safety precautions of the trade. Skill is required to use various tools and equipment; to maintain or repair various types of materials or equipment and ability is required to follow written and oral instructions.

This position is located at the Tulsa Air National Guard Base in Tulsa, OK

This position requires travel in and out of state with overnight stays. Travel may be required at the expense of the employee to be reimbursed within 45 days of travel.
