Job summary

Starr Insurance Companies seeks an experienced Loss Control Manager to oversee and enhance client service delivery across the U.S. Construction Casualty portfolio.

You will lead a team of risk consultants, balance client needs with resources, and promote service excellence within Starr’s Risk Consulting and Loss Control functions. The role requires 10–15 years in Loss Control, strong leadership and a client-focused mindset, and the ability to travel as needed to meet client and internal needs.

Qualifications

• 10–15 years of Loss Control experience.
• Proven leadership experience managing people and resources.
• Strong communication, relationship-building, and client service skills.
• Vendor management experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of IoT and AI technologies in risk management is a plus.
• Ability to travel as needed to attend client and internal meetings.

Responsibilities

• Manage service delivery for loss control, acting as escalation point for client issues.
• Lead and mentor risk consulting and loss control professionals.
• Develop and implement service delivery processes, KPIs, and best practices.
• Collaborate with underwriters and profit center leaders to demonstrate service capabilities.
• Attend client meetings and support business development for Starr’s clients.
