Job summary

Hire Innovative is seeking a Construction Litigation Attorney in Orange County, CA to connect legal strategy with project facts, technical records, contracts, and insurance issues. The role involves sophisticated disputes and direct client contact in a confidential search process.

Responsibilities include analyzing contracts and plans, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and translating complex project histories into actionable strategy.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, defect, commercial, insurance, or complex-litigation matters.
• Ability to work with technical documents and expert issues.
• Strong writing and organization skills; clear client communication.
• Active or eligible state bar admission to practice in CA.
• Ability to manage priorities independently and escalate needs early.

Responsibilities

• Analyze contracts, plans, schedules, change orders, expert materials, claims and insurance issues.
• Prepare pleadings, discovery, deposits, motions, mediation and trial materials.
• Coordinate with owners, contractors, design professionals, consultants and carriers.
• Translate project history into clear legal strategy and client guidance.
• Take ownership of matters and keep clients and supervising attorneys informed of deadlines and risk.
