Construction Litigation Attorney (No Biz Required) – Mid-Size Chicago Law Firm

About the Position:
We are working with a premier mid-size law firm with an immediate need for a construction litigation attorney (8+ yrs) to join its Chicago office as a senior associate or partner. This thriving practice represents owners, developers, lenders, architects, and engineers in a variety of construction-related litigation matters. Responsibilities:
· Represent clients including, lenders, owners, developers, contractors, architects, and engineers in construction litigation matters
· Draft and negotiate construction, design, and design-build agreements
· Take and defend depositions
· Handle pre-trial matters as well as trials

Required Qualifications:
· 8 or more years of construction litigation experience including, construction defect claims, insurance coverage related to construction claims, and delay and impact claims
· Experience drafting and negotiating construction agreements
· Experience taking/defending depositions and pre-trial and trial experience
· A technical background in design or construction is a plus

Compensation:
The anticipated base salary range for this position is $175,000 – $255,000.
