A highly regarded law firm is seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Attorney to join its Construction practice.

The firm represents a wide range of clients, from entrepreneurs to global institutions, across various industries including banking, real estate, manufacturing, and hospitality.

Responsibilities:

• Conducting factual investigations and discovery
• Preparing pleadings, taking depositions, arguing motions, participating in mediation
• The ability to successfully develop and maintain strong relationships with the firm’s existing client base
• Experience in court proceedings
• The ideal candidate is a strong legal writer with experience working on cases involving design defects, construction defects, construction delay, mechanic’s liens and payment issues in the construction industry

Candidate requirements:

• 3+ years of Construction Litigation experience
• Strong experience across investigations and discovery, pleadings, depositions, arguing motions and client communication
• Excellent academic credentials
• The ability to effectively handle multiple projects and articulate legal strategies

Certifications:

Candidate ideally to be admitted and able to practice in Illinois.
