Qualifications

• Must hold a JD from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in Texas with a clean disciplinary record.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction litigation with emphasis on insurance defense.
• Excellent legal research and writing skills; ability to draft clear, concise, persuasive documents.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills; maintain client relationships.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of construction litigation matters with deadlines.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategy.
• Draft, review, and negotiate pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and settlements.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, including hearings, trials, arbitrations, and mediations.
• Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to develop defense strategies.
• Stay updated on construction law and insurance defense developments.
