Job summary

AppleOne Employment Services is seeking a Construction Litigation Analyst to provide strategic, non-clerical support for cases involving general contractors, subcontractors, homeowners, and insurers in construction defect matters. The role requires managing multiple files, organizing large document sets, and delivering clear case intelligence and depositions analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience with construction documentation (contracts, scopes of work, change orders, RFIs) and/or legal/paralegal work in construction.
• Ability to read and summarize depositions and legal documents for key issues.
• Strong analytical writing—able to summarize strategically, not just describe.
• Proficiency navigating large electronic file systems.
• Experience with Asana or similar project management tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Case File Management: triage incoming case files and organize large electronic document sets (hundreds to hundreds of thousands of documents).
• Identify missing documents (contracts, invoices, change orders, subcontractor agreements) and coordinate with the team to obtain them.
• Maintain file organization across multiple active cases concurrently.
• Document Analysis and Case Intelligence: prepare and maintain a case summary matrix with key facts, scope of work, timeline, and participants; update as new materials arrive.
• Build and maintain a chronological timeline of events for each case, noting defects origin and involved parties.
• Track all participants (general contractors, subcontractors, architects, engineers, experts) and detail each role.
• Read, annotate, and summarize depositions for issues related to client exposure.
