Qualifications

• DOT medical card (can get one after receiving an offer).
• Overnight travel required.

Responsibilities

• Competent pole and ladder climbing skills.
• Works aloft utilizing climbing gaffs, ladders, and mechanical lifts.
• Operates company vehicles and equipment including bucket trucks, fork lifts, backhoes/trenchers, and other machines.
• Works outdoors in the elements.
• Reads network design prints.
• Accurately maintains daily log sheet and inventory paperwork.
• Knowledge of NESC construction guidelines and Armstrong construction practices.
• Follows all Armstrong safety policies.
• Maintains vehicles and machines to Armstrong standards.

**Construction Lineman 1 Position Summary:****Shift: 4x10 hr shifts, M-Th (overnight travel required)** This is an entry level position where the successful candidate must have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
