Job summary

WSP USA in Glastonbury, CT is seeking a full-time Construction Manager/Inspector to join our Construction Management Team. You will oversee multi-trade contracts, perform site inspections, and produce reports to ensure conformance with project requirements.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Construction Management or Civil Engineering, 3+ years of experience, strong communication, and OSHA-30 certification. This role offers growth within a growing firm and a collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• BS in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Civil Eng Tech.
• 3+ years in construction with supervision of large-scale projects.
• Strong communication and collaborative skills; OSHA-30 certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide construction management inspection for multi-trade contracts to ensure conformance with contract requirements.
• Keep projects on schedule and within budget while meeting clients' needs.
• Perform inspections, prepare construction reports and supervise inspectors.
• Maintain a written daily log of progress, workforce, materials, deliveries and issues.
• Identify and resolve problems, conduct meetings, and communicate with team members.
• Monitor contractor safety operations and coordinate with the Regional Safety Manager.
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
