Job summary

NOAR Technologies in Detroit is seeking a Field person, Survey Crew Chief, or Construction Layout Professional to lead advanced layout projects across commercial and industrial sites. • Knowledge of total stations and GNSS, and survey control.

• Experience with MEP, concrete, steel, or industrial layout; strong communication and training skills.

We’re hiring! Survey, Construction and Manufacturing Layout.

NOAR Technologies is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced Field person, Survey Crew Chief, Construction Layout Professional, or someone with equivalent field experience who is ready to take the next step in their career.

This is more than a traditional surveying/construction layout position. You’ll become a technical leader supporting some of the most innovative layout technology in the industry, including HP SitePrint Autonomous Layout Robot, and advanced construction layout workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Perform and support construction layout for commercial and industrial projects.
• Provide customer training for Autonomous floor layout and could include MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) layout and digital layout workflows with RTS.
• Become a technical leader for HP SitePrint Autonomous Layout deployments.
• Prepare and review AutoCAD and Revit files for robotic layout.
• Conduct on-site demonstrations, customer training, and technical support.
• Work with manufacturing facilities, data centers, industrial plants, and commercial construction projects.
• Travel to customer sites throughout the U.S. as needed. Typically travel is Michigan – Midwest.

Preferred Qualifications

• Survey Crew Chief, field person, construction layout experience.
• Knowledge of total stations, GNSS, and survey control.
• AutoCAD experience (Revit is a plus).
• Experience with MEP, concrete, steel, or industrial layout.
• Strong communication and customer training skills.
• Willingness to travel and learn new technologies.
