Job Summary

This role involves operating a Class A CDL vehicle, including Asphalt Water Wagons, Flatbeds, and Trailers, while performing general labor on paving crews. Approximately 10% of the time is spent driving; 90% on field crew tasks.

Essential Job Functions

• Transport heavy equipment and materials to/from the site
• Load, unload, and clean equipment/materials
• Perform physical labor such as shoveling, raking, lifting
• Traffic control duties (flagging)
• Manage traffic control materials (cones, barrels)
• Complete daily inspection checklists
• Maintain safety standards
• *Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Valid Class A CDL license or willingness to obtain one
• Manual transmission capability
• Tanker and Hazmat endorsements (or ability to obtain)
• Construction experience preferred
• Union membership or willingness to join

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and overtime
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel up to 70 miles
• Adherence to Drug-Free & Alcohol-Free policies
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Excellent attendance, punctuality, and work ethic
• Ability to wear PPE and work independently or as part of a team
