Responsibilities include:

• Cleaning and preparing construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Controlling traffic near, in, and around work zones.
• Measuring, marking, and recording openings and distances for construction layout.
• Digging ditches or trenches, backfilling excavations, and leveling earth to grade specifications using appropriate tools.
• Signaling equipment operators to facilitate machinery and material movements.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Commitment to safety.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Strong work ethic.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Physical ability to bend, sit for long periods, and work in heat.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs without assistance.
