Things You’ll Do

• Clean and prepare construction sites to eliminate hazards.
• Control traffic near, in, and around work zones.
• Measure, mark, and record openings and distances for construction layouts.
• Dig ditches or trenches, backfill excavations, and level earth to grade specifications.
• Signal equipment operators to assist with machinery and material movement.
