Job description

Requires a high school diploma, GED or related experience equivalent. Requires an acceptable valid Driver’s License with clear driving record.

Job Summary:

The Construction Laborer is responsible for the construction of fencing and decking in addition to hoop building construction. This also includes communicating with customers concerning repairs and maintenance during construction.

Reports to / Supervision Received:

Structures Location Manager

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned):

1. Drive to the jobsite per instruction of manager, assess customer’s service needs, complete the work to the customer’s satisfaction, and complete service documentation.
2. Develop mechanical skills, learn new techniques and remain current with product requirements for installing material to meet safety specifications while maintaining quality workmanship with minimal warranty.
3. Willingness to learn and be part of a team.
4. Must perform moderate to heavy physical activities in all weather conditions. At times must be able to lift significant weight safely. Be able to climb and work off a ladder.
5. Maintain a safe working environment and upon completion of day’s work ensure job site is clean and clear of debris.
6. Ensure that all sales tickets are completed, signed and submitted accurately to ensure all tickets are processed in a timely manner.
7. Maintain inventory on truck and have knowledge and understanding of all parts, part numbers and part descriptions.
8. Must maintain a valid driver’s license.
9. Complete necessary paperwork.
10. Responsible for maintaining company equipment according to company standards, adheres to the company Uniform Policy, and maintains the appropriate professional image.
11. Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
