Job summary

A leading contractor in landfill construction is seeking a Construction Laborer to aid in site preparation, operate tools, and support various construction activities. Responsibilities include maintaining tools, digging trenches, and assisting with concrete pours. Candidates should have up to 3 years of general construction experience and the ability to lift heavy materials. Qualifications

• 0-3 years of general construction experience.
• Prior construction experience preferred.
• Must be able to sit, stand, and bend for multiple hours.
• Ability to travel up to 90-100%.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites for projects.
• Digs ditches or trenches, backfills excavations.
• Apply glue to electrical conduits and fittings for piping.
• Weld HDPE pipe and fittings; extrusion weld HDPE liner materials.

Skills

General construction experience

Ability to lift up to 75 lbs

Ability to work in various weather conditions

Valid driver’s license
