Job summary

Charah Solutions Inc. is seeking a construction laborer to perform general duties on site under supervision. You will assist with site tasks, operate basic tools, and help maintain a clean and safe work area.

The role requires a valid driver's license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and availability for nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed. This entry-level position offers exposure to environmental services projects.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Minimum one-year experience in a construction or similar environment preferred.
• General knowledge of construction and mechanical equipment preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform general labor duties such as spotting trucks, using hand tools (shovel, rake, post hole digger, etc.), installing silt fence and using small equipment.
• Sweep and mop trailer floor, clean work area and wash trucks.
• Flag vehicles in and out of the construction site.
• Learn, follow, and promote all safety regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
