Construction Laborer

SUMMARY

Mortenson is currently seeking aLaborerthat will provide materials to, and support masons involved with block, brick and stone work, as well as general clean up, liftin/moving miscellaneous construction material and equipment around the site.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Handle bags of sand, grout, lime, and cement; transport and distribute masonry
Erect and dismantle scaffolding; clean work area and restock supplies
Spread mortar for base and binder; apply mortar and set blocks
Level, align, and embed blocks; remove excess mortar and finish seams
Break blocks to fit smaller areas; determine alignment using plumb-bob, gauge line, and level
Build relationships with diverse individuals; perform other duties as assigned
