Job summary

Hampton Roads Connector Partners JV (HRCP) is hiring for a full-time construction laborer on the Norfolk project. You will perform site cleaning, trenching, scaffolding, and material handling as part of a multi-contractor team on a major I-64 expansion.

Applicants should be able to work outdoors in all weather, pass a drug screen, and have a HS diploma or be preferred. A strong focus on safety and teamwork is required, with competitive wage rates in the posted range.

Qualifications

• Must be a team player and able to communicate effectively.
• Must be physically able to perform heavy lifting and outdoor work.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare sites and dig trenches.
• Set braces, erect scaffolding, and remove debris and hazardous waste.
• Direct signals to equipment operators for alignment and movement.
• Load, unload, and distribute materials per project plans.
• Assist other craft workers and perform assigned duties.
