Qualifications

• 1+ years of construction experience.
• Willingness to attain required certifications.
• Ability to pass fit-for-duty evaluations.

Responsibilities

• Maintains safe, secure, and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; calling for repairs.
• Updates job knowledge by participating in training opportunities.
• Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
• Prepares work by studying and clarifying instructions and diagrams; calculating requirements; gathering supplies.
• Coordinate machine actions with other activities, position or move loads in response to signals from crew members.
• Safely move dirt, rocks, equipment, or other materials using articulated dump trucks.
• Accomplishes operations and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
• This position is also responsible for tasks involving physical labor at construction sites and assisting other workers.
• Employees may operate hand and power tools: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, small mechanical hoists, surveying and measuring equipment.
