Job summary

Groundworks, North America''s leader in foundation solutions, is seeking construction laborer-installers in Traverse City, MI. You''ll travel to residential/commercial sites to install, test, and service equipment, with training and equipment provided.

You will support a fast-paced crew, perform site prep and cleanup, and help meet project goals with safety as a top priority. Compensation includes competitive hourly pay with a per-job bonus, typically around $40k–$50k per year on average.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of trade specific tools for installations and correct use of equipment.
• Previous experience working in the construction industry.
• Must have a valid, non-restrictive driver’s license.
• Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Perform general construction labor tasks including digging, back-filling trenches, and site clean-up.
• Assist with installation of products and services under supervision.
• Load, carry, and deliver heavy materials (up to 50 lbs) to and from job sites.
• Enter confined spaces such as crawl spaces and basements to perform repairs.
• Work outdoors in various weather conditions while maintaining safety standards.
• Follow instructions closely and adhere to company policies, including safety.
• Foster teamwork by building positive relationships and supporting team goals.
• Maintain professionalism and integrity and uphold the company’s reputation.
• Assist with additional tasks as assigned to ensure project success.
