Job summary

Rachel Contracting is seeking a Construction Laborer to support earthwork, demolition and utilities projects across the Midwest/Central US region.

You will assist with grading, drainage, road improvements and site housekeeping while following safety rules and using hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in construction or related labor roles.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing the earthwork scope of projects, including site grading, road construction and improvements, drainage systems, road maintenance, dewatering, soil stabilization, foundation excavation and backfill, utility installation, and other required civil infrastructure work.
• Support general construction activities for earthwork, demolition, and civil projects, including staking, reading and interpreting plans, and preparing and maintaining a clean, safe jobsite.
• Safely operate and maintain hand and power tools in accordance with company policies and project safety standards.
