Job summary

MEMCO in Miami, FL is seeking dependable Scaffolding Yard Workers to support daily operations in their material yard. This role involves handling scaffolding equipment, loading/unloading materials, and performing physically demanding tasks in an active work environment.

The position is full-time and long-term with ASAP start, paying $17/hr and a schedule from 7am to 5/5:30pm. You must pass a pre-employment drug screen, lift 50+ lbs, work outdoors, and follow safety protocols as part of a team.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in construction or material handling (scaffolding knowledge a plus).
• A pre-employment drug screen will be required
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
• Basic math skills for accurate material counting
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a team

Responsibilities

• Load and unload scaffolding materials (pipes, frames, planks, fittings)
• Bundle, sort, and prepare orders for pickup and delivery
• Inspect materials for damage and ensure quality control
• Assist with inventory management and yard organization
• Operate basic equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks - experience )
