Job summary

TriTechne is seeking an entry-level Construction Laborer I – Telecom to support field crews in installing, maintaining, and repairing aerial and underground telecom infrastructure. This role emphasizes learning safe construction practices, performing manual tasks, and building a long-term career in telecommunications construction.

You will assist with conduit and cable placement, trenching, and site restoration, while handling materials, tools, and equipment and working with basic hand and power

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist with conduit placement, cable placement, trenching, and job site restoration.
• Hand-dig trenches and backfill safely under supervision.
• Load, unload, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
• Operate basic hand and power tools.
• Set up and break down traffic control and safety zones.
• Clear brush, debris, and obstacles to prepare work sites.
• Support linemen and operators with pole setting and conduit placement.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site while following all safety protocols.
• Participate in on-call rotation schedules and travel to project sites as required, including overnight stays.
