Job summary

HP-Cummings-Construction-Co. is seeking a Laborer for our Vermont job sites. The role involves physical labor, operating hand and power tools, cleaning and preparing sites, and assisting craftsmen. Candidates should be reliable, able to follow directions, and maintain a safe, organized work area.

Typical hours are 7:00am to 3:30pm with potential overtime. Some travel to multiple job sites within a 30-minute radius may be required. OSHA 10 is preferred but training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Able to perform strenuous manual labor.
• Strong organizational skills and dedication to timely completion of tasks.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules and operating instructions.
• Must be able to travel to jobsite within a 30-minute radius.
• Must have valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor
• Maintains a clean jobsite, secures tools and equipment daily
• Loads and unloads trucks, handles materials
• Operates power tools as directed
• Assists craft workers and takes direction from supervisory staff
• Demonstrates good work ethic and teamwork
• Communicates clearly with the crew on site
• Maintains consistent attendance on-site
