Job summary

Fransen Pittman is seeking a Laborer to perform a wide range of physical tasks on construction sites. You will unload materials, assist carpenters, and help keep the site clean and safe throughout the day.

The role requires the ability to lift heavy items, work in various weather conditions, and follow directions with flexibility in assignments. Prior experience and a valid driver’s license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Prior job experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to listen to, understand, and follow directions.
• Ability to remain flexible as assignments change.
• Ability to work with a variety of personalities.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic for counting/inventory.

Responsibilities

• Unload construction materials and distribute them to the correct locations as directed by the supervisor.
• Assist carpenters with tools and materials for daily tasks.
• Keep the jobsite clean and prepared, including digging trenches and removing debris.
• Operate a range of hand and some power tools.
• Direct traffic near work zones and assist with equipment positioning.
• Help move and align machinery and materials as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized site at day end and store materials properly.
