Job summary

Bartlett Cocke General Contractors in the College Station, TX area is seeking Laborers to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of strenuous manual tasks on construction projects, including work on roofs, scaffolds, and with heavy materials, while maintaining a safe and organized site.

You will be part of a hands-on crew, required to wear PPE, lift up to 50 pounds, and be prepared for travel between jobsites if needed.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit and able to perform strenuous manual labor.
• Must pass pre-employment screenings.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds and travel between jobsites if required.
• Wear PPE including hard hat, safety glasses, vest, gloves, and boots.

Responsibilities

• Perform strenuous manual labor on construction projects.
• Work on roofs, scaffolds, and ladders as needed.
• Keep site clean and secure tools daily to prevent hazards.
• Handle materials and load/unload from trucks.
• Ensure work is performed in a safe manner and follow reporting procedures.
• Report problems to Foreman, Superintendent, or Safety Manager.
• Assist in surface preparation as required.
