Job summary

Maine Drilling & Blasting in Harrisburg, PA is seeking a Laborer-Construction to join our field team. You will assist with site setup, learn blasting safety, and perform general labor under supervision.

Responsibilities include following safety procedures, loading materials, moving tools, and keeping the job site clean and organized.

Starting pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour with a $150 weekly travel allowance, plus opportunities for training and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be safety-conscious and able to work in varying weather environments.
• Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen.
• Must pass criminal background check for ATF.
• Experience with construction laborer work is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to company safety procedures and policies.
• Submit accurate and signed time cards weekly to Blaster/Foreman.
• Learn safety aspects of working on construction sites and around explosives.
• Perform general laboring tasks as directed by supervisors.
• Load and unload explosives from trucks; carry stemming stone to blast holes.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site and participate in safety meetings.
